Founded in 1985 by a group of passionate astronomers and educators, the CosmicDome started as a small projector in a community center. Today, we are one of the region's premier science institutions.
In 2015, we completed a major renovation, installing our signature 60-foot dome and an 8K digital projection system that allows us to simulate the universe with unprecedented accuracy.
We continue to expand our programs, offering workshops, night sky observations, and special events for the community. Our mission remains the same: to inspire wonder and curiosity in every visitor who walks through our doors.
